"Born in 2013 as a liederistic ensemble -unique in its genre due to the presence of the horn- the "Morgen Trio" enriches the original repertoire for this formation with transcriptions expressly prepared by its members and by those musicians who collaborates with it. It has been created by its components:
Barbara Costa, Soprano
Roberto Miele, Horn
Emanuele Delucchi, Piano
musicians with a 15 years career.

trio morgen

The attention to a rare repertoire and the research for particular solutions in arranging the songs are the most interesting trait of the Trio: some transcriptions mix and combine in various ways the sounds of the three soloists, so that, for instance, you can listen to a solo violin performed by the horn (see "Morgen" by R. Strauss), a duet of the soprano and the horn (see "Bachiana Brasileira No. 5" by H. Villa Lobos), or, where possible, sacred songs performed with the organ, as well as solo-performances of each of the components.

It is therefore easy to understand why the repertoire, thanks to these very special transcriptions, appears very heterogeneous: the Trio ranges from Lieder to film music, through sacred music, baroque music, opera and so on. Its repertoire includes works from the eighteenth century to the present, due to the presence of works by contemporary authors.

A concert by the "Morgen Trio" offers an imaginary journey across Europe: the songs performed have Spanish, German, French, Czech and Russian texts; that's why the enseble gives particular attention to the presentation of the works, reciting the verses and their translations. For this reason the concerts of the "Morgen Trio" fulfill the expectations of any kind of audiences: concerts to be enjoyed to the end and that always include surprises (in the encores too!).
